GFG was founded Yule of 1998 to provide a safe space for queer pagan men to grow and Prosper. We follow an eclectic path emphasizing Queer Spirit, with strong influences from Greco-Roman mythos, Druidry, Celtic, Kemetic, Voodoo, Shamanism, men’s mysteries, and Radical Faerie.
Our Purposes:
Provide a safe place for gay, bisexual, and transgendered men to worship in community and brotherhood
Explore and practice Pagan spiritual beliefs and traditions
Support and respect one another within the Grove to promote healing, growth, and realization of aspirations
Hold Pagan religious rituals on the Sabbats, and on other special occasions in order to celebrate the seasons, work magick, recognize rites of passage, and honor the Gods
Honor the earth and Her creatures as sacred, and work to protect and heal the environment within our community, throughout our nation, and across the world
Produce ritual, literature, music, and art to foster Pagan spirituality within the gay community at large
Teach Pagan beliefs and traditional skills to members, and to communicate with sisters and brothers within kindred spiritual paths
Educate the general public about the role of gay, bisexual, and transgendered men in Pagan Spirituality
